SATURDAY - 11.00pm - The Scarlet Bar Hailing from Tauranga in New Zealand, this four piece folk, funk, roots band has spent the last 20 months playing shows around Australia. After playing over 360 shows since their arrival in May 2006 they have cemented their place as one of Australia hardest working groups. BONJAH have completed two well received national tours of the East Coast. Their experience of playing together is apparent- their shows are natural and unscripted and they combine soulful roots and funk/reggae grooves so well.

The band are proud to say they live off there music, from CD sales and shows since arriving from New Zealand. The critically acclaimed 9 track  EP, Lemon Tree Bay, named after the  town that inspired the songs recently sold out of it's third pressing. BONJAH recorded a show at The Evelyn to a packed house in late 2007, the CD called Looking for Life has 5 live tracks and 3 studio tracks, it is available on ITunes as of May 1st.
