The role of the CoastFest Inc organization is to facilitate a yearly Festival which will take place on the Central Coast of NSW.
The Event will be primarily a music Festival and will encourage
“non-mainstream” genres, such as Traditional Folk, World Music, Blues
and Roots, as well as Alternative, Fusion and Contemporary Acoustic
Music. The Festival will also be a celebration of the Art & Culture
of the Central Coast and will include, dance, theatre, visual arts and
crafts. It will also encourage participation by various cultural and
community groups who will be able to demonstrate and share their
skills, customs, beliefs and modes of spirituality, both during the
festival and throughout the planning process.

During our inaugral festival in 2005, we recorded some of the features events, artists and the festival making process onto video. We were also lucky to have contributors who supplied many great images that we can now share with you.
The CoastFest 2005 experience is now available on DVD thanks to a great many contributors who provided footage, audio and photographs of this great community building event.
